The Schools to Watch Program® is a copyrighted program of the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform. Criteria established by the National Forum are used as the basis for the Forum’s Schools to Watch Program, which focuses on school improvement efforts characterized by a continuous trajectory toward success.
Schools to Watch are defined as high performing schools with proven academic excellence while being developmentally responsive and socially equitable.

August 30, 2024 is the last day for the principal to complete the Intent to Apply.
October 31, 2024 is the last day to submit the Schools to Watch Application.
By November 29, 2024, schools notified of site visit status.
By February 28, 2025, school site visits completed.
By March 31, 2025, Kentucky Schools to Watch announced.
April – May 2025, school celebrations
June, 2025, recognition at the national Schools to Watch Conference in Washington, DC.
